WOW!


So yesterday I blogged about how we are patiently waiting for the Conditional Release from the National Guard to go thru...estimated wait time is 2-6 months to get the paper back in your hand after it goes thru all of the chain of command. We turned it in Tuesday morning, and got the paper back TODAY! 2 yeah thats right TWO days! We have up to 90 days now to talk to the recruiter and can get started on Active Duty orders! WHOO HOO! We are SO excited for this!





I've definately been researching possible Army bases around the states and the world to where we could be sent, and so far I dont think I've found one I wouldnt take in a heart beat (yes, even Alaska) Its gonna be great!





I also mentioned yesterday that I am starting a photography business, well I have all my "models" except for a maternity and a newborn model! PSSSST come on moms to be! This could be you AND your soon to be new born baby! :)

some big things are happenen...

SOO much has happened lately!
I have been so crazy busy with the holidays and ready for it?
Starting a photography business!
Jord finally helped me understand that this is what I've always wanted,
For the longest time I felt like i needed to find something I wanna be when I grew up because being a photographer isnt a huge sourse of income and can be a difficult field to go in to!
But because of the fact that I have such an amazing and supportive husband I have the oppertunity to fulfill my dream.
If you are interested I am offering a few free photoshoots and all photos edited or not on a cd with a copy right release so you can print off as you please...
I am looking for:
1 Boy (1-5 years old)
1 Girl (1-5 years old)
2 Newborn (best done before 2 weeks but will also consider up to 2 months old)
1 Engagement
1 Maternity

I have also been busy with another big step in our families futures....
Jordon has officially put in his Conditional Release form in the national guard,
now all we have to do is wait for it to go thru his chain of command and then he will be totally elligable to join the United States Army-Active duty.
YUP!
Thats right, Jordon and I think that it would be a great adventure to go active duty.
The recruiter he is talking to says the conditional release will take about 2 months. So we are keeping our fingers crossed they keep it going and get it done SOON!

We have finally got our daughter (2 years old) potty trained! Our 3 year old son however has no ambition to use the potty. But SOO happy we only have one kid in pull ups now!

I Did It.

I've been kinda skeptical on the whole

What To Be When I Grown Up

thingy.

But I know, without a doubt, that this is what I want to be.

And it literally came to me in a dream the other night.

I woke up the next morning and starting researching.

This Is It.

I will get to do all of the following things..and some :)

Take Medical Histories

Diagnose Illnesses

Treat Illnesses

Physical Exams

Assist In Surgeries!

Starting salary-straight out of college?

63K a year.

Yup.

Sixty three thousand dollars a year.

But i dont wanna do it for the money alone-

I want to help people.

I love science classes

I love the medical field.

I am in love with the fact that I can assist in Surgeries lol

I will first need to obtain a Bach. Degree-in the correct areas of course-

im thinkin basic as it gets and goin for the

Bach. of Science

and also keep my GPA lookin good also!

Then I will need to apply-and get accepted-to a medical school/program.

I will then have the oppertunity to complete my degree.

A total of 6 years is what this will take.

4 Years for my Bach.

2 Years Med.

alot of people think 6 years is a long time for school-

but what they dont know is that in 6 years...

my kids will be 7&8 years old

in school and growing up entirely WAY to fast

I will be 26-going on 27 years old

STILL YOUNG PEOPLE

Now I know, without a doubt that, when people say "what do you wanna do with your life" i can proudly say i wanna be a.....

Physicians Assistant.

I am happy.

& probably way to excited,

but its what i want.

5-6 year plan-a very rough draft

Well, Jordons job at the shop was only temperary.

So we knew the day would come they told him he wasnt needed.

Yesterday he was told that he had until June 1st at the shop,

then he's on his own.

UGH.

I need a job so badly.

And No One is hiring anywhere.

(if anyone knows anywhere here or in laramie hiring please let me know asap)

We sat down the other night and decided that we are gonna move to

Laramie.

He wants to go to Wyotech for their Diesel Tech. Program.

It is only a 6-12 month class

but he will get certified in lots of things.

I also want to go to school.

So we made a plan.

Its still in a "rough draft" sort of form

but here it is.

I get a Full time job in Laramie

He gets a full time job in laramie for the summer.

He will enroll in classes BY spring semester.

Then he will go PT working.

Once he is done with his we will then look for a great job for him

(once again)

We will go wherever this new job will take us.

as long as there is a school near by.

Then I will enroll in school

Get my bach. in science.

then i will decide as to what i wanna be.

(Nurse, Dental Hygienist, Or A Phys. Assistant)

They all require about the same prereqs. so its all good in that department!

Then we will spend 20 years paying off my student loans..

like i said, a rough draft.

but it sounds about accurate to whats gonna happen.

**of course that is the next 5-6 years with hopes of NOT going thru a deployment**

who knows what will happen if he gets deployed sooner than that!
